Welcoming Spring & Easter Styling Ideas

After what has felt like a long and cold Winter, we couldn’t be happier to welcome Spring, with Easter just around the corner. Much of what we do is about creating a home you love and cherish, so for this Easter, we wanted to share a few simple ideas to mark the season with our Easter styling inspiration. We hope you enjoy the read!

1. A Kitchen Island Display

An island is a central focal point to the kitchen and is a wonderful element to dress up seasonally. A place where people naturally gather and socialise, keep your kitchen interior fresh and seasonal by periodically changing a simple island display. Welcoming the bright and airy colour palette of Spring, this customers kitchen island is dressed with potted narcissus, white tulips, an assortment of beautiful hen eggs and a cake stand with fresh hot cross buns – the Easter favourite!

2. Spring Tulips in The Garden

With warmer days on the horizon, one of our favourite ways to enjoy Spring is also in the garden! Planted from late-Autumn, it is always so special to see bulbs beginning to pop up in early Spring, followed by a burst of colour in coming weeks. Tulips are available in an array of hues and when planted on mass, really do give impact and beauty. To achieve the look above, we recommend tulips ‘Purissima’, ‘Pink Vision’ and 'Angelique'. If you don’t already have tulips in the ground, you can often buy potted bulbs ready to flower at local garden centres.

3. Easter Table Setting

Easter is a perfect time to spend it with family and loved ones, so why not host an Easter lunch or dinner with a themed table setting? This can really be dressed with anything you want - when creating this table setting in a customer’s home, we opted for neutral and natural tones and textures, with layered place settings, a moss filled planter and a touch of colour from the tulips.

4. Easter Door Wreath

In recent years we have noticed more and more people getting creative and having fun in making or sourcing door wreaths – whether it’s an inviting front door entrance or a wreath to hang proudly on an interior door, there are many options of DIY and ready-made wreaths. This season we are loving The White Company’s ‘Wildflower Wreath’ for a rustic, minimal look. Etsy also have plenty of handmade wreaths with pastel Easter egg hues and natural materials. If you’re feeling crafty, it is really simple to create your own – all you will need is a twisted willow wreath as the base, floristry wire, craft glue and some faux foliage and eggs or any other elements you want to add in.
