The Christmas Interior Wish List
This time of year holds a simple magic that we will always love. There is an undeniable charm in transforming our homes into cosy, warm and inviting spaces. From the twinkling of lights to a dressed table setting for guests, the holiday season invites us to create an interior that celebrates warmth, joy, and togetherness. Below you’ll find a selection of things we are loving for this festive season, with our Christmas interior wish list.
Candles & Candlesticks
Would it be winter without candles in the home? Whether tapered candlesticks for a candlelit dinner, or pillar candles dotted across shelving, inglenook fireplaces, and the kitchen island - the warm, incandescent glow of candles create an inviting and homely feel. Neptune’s Nightingale tapered candles in ‘Cranberry’ are a lovely choice for their rich red colour and elegant shape. Whilst The White Company’s signature ‘Winter’ botanical candle remains a favourite on our list for its spiced scent of cinnamon, clove, and orange.

We love holding get-togethers and there is no better occasion to gather everyone than at Christmas time! Glassware is not only a practical necessity, but there are so many beautiful options and styles to choose from. Rowen and Wren stock a range of artisanal elegant glasses such as the Isla fluted champagne coupes and the Clara flared glasses, both perfect for hosting friends and family in the holiday season and beyond.

Winter Foliage
One of our favourite ways to add seasonal touches is through flowers and foliage. Whilst there are less seasonal fresh flowers to choose from during the winter months, there are many faux stems and branches that offer an authentic and realistic look. On our list for this Christmas is OKA’s faux tea rose and eucalyptus bunch with its warm deep-red roses and dark greenery. This beautiful bouquet comes readily arranged for an everlasting display throughout winter in the home. Neptune also offer a collection of bouquets where you can shop the individual stems to recreate the look – we chose the ‘Eve’ bouquet, “with deep warm tones, Eve is a collection of greenery and stems that will evoke a subtle festive feel within your interior.”

Hand-painted Dinner Plates
For those who enjoy hosting dinner parties, Christmas is an opportunity to have loved one’s round and dress the table for the occasion. To create a festive tablescape, OKA have a wonderful selection of dinner plates and side plates, the ‘Sheki’ range feature colourful motifs designed to resemble English roses and abstract flowers. The set of six Sheki dinner plates have a stencilled and hand-painted winding pattern of reds and greens, finished with a rich glaze which look beautiful layered with other elements in a table setting.
