Limestone Paving Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of limestone paving?

Many ask what the best outdoor patio tiles for gardens are – limestone paving offers a practical and beautiful outdoor patio tile. Limetone paving is naturally very dense, hardwearing and forgiving. It offers an entirely unique
patio floor, and will naturally lighten and season with time for an authentic feel.

What is limestone paving made of?

Limestone paving is a natural material quarried from the earth. Limestone is a sedimentary rock, formed over millions of years. A combination of sediments, broken seashells, coral and the remains of aquatic animals deposited on the waterbed, slowly compresses over time into a hard rock.

Do outdoor limestone tiles need sealing?

It is not essential to seal limestone paving when laid outside, but we do
recommend doing so as it will help protect the stone against water and stain contamination.

How do you clean limestone pavers?

A fantastic benefit of limestone pavers is that they are forgiving and very hardwearing. For regular maintenance, you can use a stiff brush to sweep and brush away any leaves or debris. Limestone paving can be jet washed seasonally combined with a cleaner designed for natural stone.
