We aim to always offer the smoothest delivery service for our customers. Below are the different types of deliveries available and information for what you can expect from the delivery process.
Our standard delivery time is usually 5 days from your order date. A next-day service is available at a surcharge upon enquiry. Delivery is contracted out through a pallet network and is between 8:30am and 5:30pm on a day you can request (within our warehouse schedule). You will also be given an ETA on the day of delivery.
Delivery is classed as kerbside arriving on an 18 tonne lorry and unloaded with a tail lift and hand pallet truck. It is at the drivers discretion to deliver anywhere closer to your property. On the day of delivery, someone will need to be on site to check and sign for the goods.
Is there restricted access to your address? If there is any restricted access such as narrow lanes and overhanging trees, we need to be notified before delivery is booked. We can then request a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry for your delivery.
Our specialised delivery service is usually within 5 to 7 working days (dependant on vehicle availability). This service is through a dedicated haulier and is between 8:30am and 5:30pm with an ETA given on the day. Delivery is on an 18 tonne, 7.5 tonne or full articulated lorry with a moffett forklift for unloading. Our specialised delivery service may cost a little more than a standard delivery, but means your order can be unloaded with a forklift to a specific onsite location. Specialist deliveries need to be booked over the phone.
Delivery is usually between 8:30am and 5:30pm. Our standard delivery service provides an auto-generated ETA text notification on the day of delivery. We also request the transport company to call one hour before delivery. However, this is not always possible and dependant on the local depots procedure as well as the drivers location and signal. On the day of delivery we are also able to track your order if you haven’t heard anything by 11am.
A 7.5 tonne lorry can be requested where there is restricted access such as narrow lanes or overhanging trees. Please inform us of restricted access before booking, failure to do so may leave you liable to re-delivery charges.
With over 23 years experience of importing stone, we know how to pack our orders safely. However, due to the nature of the product if you find a few tiles with minor damage in your order, this is considered normal and a tolerance of 5% is classed as industry standard. In the rare case that there are serious damages in your order, please inform us in writing within 48 hours (email with photo evidence).
While returns are uncommon, if you should be unhappy with your order, we can accept returns on full orders with reasonable means for returning, if notified within 48 hours after delivery. This is at your own expense for a recollection and restocking fee and goods must leave site wrapped safely, as they originally arrived. Please note we do not accept part returns.
